Aion 2 might be the most ambitious MMO we’ve seen in years - but can NCSoft actually pull it off?

Aion 2 is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious MMORPGs of 2025. Stunning world design, action combat, massive raids, and the return of classic faction PvP — it all sounds like the sequel fans have been waiting for. But with every promise comes big questions.

NCSoft has announced their third Aion 2 livestream for September 11 at 1PM CEST. The hype is high, but the real question remains: can NCSoft actually deliver a lasting MMO, or are we heading toward the same pitfalls that sank so many Korean MMOs in the past?
