Hey y'all! So I'm making this post to let you in on something regarding my music projects.
So, I have good news and I have a little-bit disappointing news. It's not bad news per se, that's why I'm calling it "little-bit disappointing", but it might not be news that even I will really like. I'll start with the latter.
The "little-bit disappointing" news is that the Linkin Park DJ Hero album, "The Zero Theory Mixtape", has been put on hold for the time being, meaning I will not be able to release the audio, nor the charts, next week on Hybrid Theory's 25th anniversary like I planned.
I honestly do not know when I will be getting back to work for the album, being that I just secured a second job and will be working both of them very often, but I am expected to be done with the audio portion, at the very least, before the year ends.
The celebration of Hybrid Theory's 25th anniversary will be a main focus for the album, I just can't release it during that time.
Now to the good news, and I mean GOOD. There's another mashup venture that I have partaken in: an album combining one of my favorite bands and my current favorite indie game.
All tracks' drafts have been completed since last week, and now I'm in the process of checking mistakes, mixing and mastering, and commissioning the numerous art that will be involved in the project, and I'm positive you'll be amazed of the final product!
As of now, that's all I can tell you of the album while it's at its current stage of completion. Expect the album released in the winter, hopefully before the year ends. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
