SAD NEWS! ๐ฅฒ
Seltos Hybrid and Even other Hybrids like Fronx/Duster etc are pushed to 2026 end or 27 due to unavailability of localisation!
Kia said they are focussing on heavy localisation of parts for hybrid based on 1.5LNA engine.
A decent news is Kia can launch hybrid Sorrento sooner than Seltos because that will have imported hybrid engine (1.6 turbo hybrid)
Let me know your thoughts

I10 Nios Africa Spec (made in India) got 0 stars in GNCAP!
As it gets 2 airbags and esc isnโt standard there hence even lower points but Hyundai needs to step up in chassis integrity as a basic Alto from MS has a stable shell, 2 more stars and especially A pillar is in better shape than the bent one here!
People know this and this is showing in sales as well
A relative told me his Nios has cruise control but his 2024 Baleno Zeta doesnt so he wants to take Nios on highways. I told him, although its great city car but please donโt ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

My honest opinions about New Gen Venue which will help you in your buying decision-
๐ Built on a new platform (enhanced K1) which supports new architecture (OTA updates) but designed like the old one for familiarity. They havenโt experimented a lot in design getting experience from Verna and Syros. For a simple buyer, the vibe is exactly like previous Venue
๐ Speaking of previous Venue, same exact engines with addition of a new Diesel AT combo which is the key differentiator and works well in smaller lighter cars like Sonet. But check arai efficiency figures (17.9kmpl), its less than Petrol dct (20kmpl) ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ maybe due to additional weight which we dont know so diesel Manual is the one to go for most efficient work. No CNG, No 1.2mpi CVT, No Hybrid as of now!
๐All These engines are refined & both turbos have good midrange, 1.2NA will be strictly city use engine. Light clutch & gearbox are top USPs. For heavy traffic conditions, dry clutch DCT isnโt an ideal choice especially lower variants without epb/auto hold.
๐The interior fit, finish, touch & feel of things around driver is incredible as we expect from Koreans even with minimum soft touch elements. Steering & touchscreen looks, buttons and stalks are very premium. At rear seat, it is average. Door and other panels weigh the same as before.
๐ Rear Seat knee and legroom are slightly more & decent now, 2 people 5โ10 will fit perfectly behind each other! Rear seat recline (at reclined position) & headroom are among the best in segment (Syros obviously tops here) but the underthigh support (refer to image) is less than ideal. Still a 4 seater + a kid in between. The lower half of Normal Venue seats are blue or black so it wont get dirty easily. Lower models get fixed small headrest ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
๐ Now the main issue, the prices are high and I understand most of the competition use old platforms and building a new one has costed them money but it is shared with Syros and upcoming EV versions of Syros and Venue so should be priced at par with competition. No automatic below 10lkhs isnt right, 7.9 lakh starting for 1.2mpi where competition is offering 178-200Nm powerhouse of the engines.
๐ Reliability & Execution of Electronics like ventilated seats, touchscreen or MID lag, EPB, Level 2 Adas, 360 degree cam etc should be at the top of segment and owners will enjoy this particular aspect the most in a long term!
๐ will share the full review soon after driving it but my strong guess is the ride & handling balance will be neutral like Creta and shouldnโt be so confused like Syros due
To extra height of the later
๐ Conclusion is- this will still sell because of reliability (apart from dct), ease of drive, premium interiors from driver seat and most importantly, aftersales of Hyundai but maybe not as much as Hyundai wants if they donโt fix the pricing.
Do you like what theyโre providing with the New Venue? Let me know in the comments

Ohh! I've seen it all. A Maruti at 4th (1st in ICE cars) and a latest Tata at 16th position at Bharat NCAP Adult score. ๐
Scroll ahead to see why. The answer lies in the marginal chest protection in Altroz from the side movable barrier where Victoris is all green.
Conclusion- No manufacturer is an absolute winner or loser, the winners here are buyers like us who have a lot of safe options now ๐ซถ๐ป
I still wonder why MS decided to go for BNCAP when they already sent the car to Gncap. Leaving no stone unturned ?
Creta is in extreme danger now โก

Victoris is here and how!
โญBased on Global C platform so a good safety score was inevitable. 5 star with points over 31 in Adult safety is nice
โญUnderboot hidden cng tank looks great and finally a solution by Maruti now. Cng variant Boot looks extremely big and usable
โญ Featuring adas, 8 speaker system from Infinity
โญ HYBRID, CNG, AWD & normal petrol manual and AT options
โญNo spare wheel again! ๐ญ
โญ Pricing isn't out yet but it should be around Grand Vitara
