It’s hard to watch other people’s animations and think things like, “My character doesn’t move like that,” or “My stage doesn’t look that good.” I had to start almost everything from scratch (I still have the sprites), because there are days when I hate everything I make. The characters don’t walk the way I want them to, the pauses are too short and make conversations feel unnatural, and the dialogue doesn’t express the emotions I’m aiming for.
I haven’t uploaded anything in a long time, and that really frustrates me — but I know I haven’t been at my best lately. I want to change that, because I spend so many days telling myself I’m not improving and can’t feel proud of what I do.
Still, I really love what I do. And if I have to redo it five more times, I will — because I know when something is worth the effort.
New channel profile picture! And... a name change :D (I just added "the" but it looks cuter) It's a photo that a friend made for me. and I couldn't be happier with the result.
