7.0A Starter Characters Only: All Footage Acquired

It turns out I could still get the clears even with three level 0 Artifacts on Alyosha.

Regarding the Starter Characters Only run, I’m still waiting for better artifacts on Alyosha before attempting 12-1 with Cryo Traveler’s team. For now, I’ll see if I can brute-force 12-2 and 12-3 without that team.

Extra Footage: Cryo Traveler DPS Test

Optimizing Cryo Traveler’s team rotation has been difficult because I’m trying to reach 12 Polestar stacks and have Traveler deal Stellar-Conduct damage while fully buffed, while also making sure everyone gets their Burst back before the next rotation.

Attached is a draft of the rotation I’ve come up with so far. As a small note, I set Alyosha’s CRIT Rate to 100% for testing, and he currently has four level 0 Artifacts.

Some people also asked about the DPS of some of my stronger starter characters teams:
- Strongest 5.X team: Amber, Kaeya, Lynette, and XiangLing (~46K DPS)
- Strongest 6.X team: Lisa, Dendro Traveler, Fischl, and Collei (~66K DPS)

6.7 Starter Characters Only Video Cancelled

Unfortunately, I don’t think a run is feasible this version, especially since I lack Ascendant Gleam for the Wilderness Hunters. I was also relocating during this time, so I had limited time and a limited setup.

For now, the most worthwhile footage I have is an 85-second clear in 12-3-1, since the Secret Source Matrix hasn’t appeared in the Spiral Abyss before.

Content creation may become slower from this point on because I’ll soon be starting a Ph.D. program. I’ll try to balance it with school, but I can’t make any guarantees.

I also wanted to share some thoughts on Cryo Traveler. Even if he’s generally considered "good," he and Alyosha may not be a meaningful improvement for Starter Characters Only runs.

Most calculations use C1 Yae Miko and Odette, while I only have access to Kaeya, Fischl/Sucrose, Lynette, and Lisa. Additionally, if HoYoverse follows a similar approach to Star Rail, we may see more HP inflation and shilling to balance out a strong free character.

Extra Footage: Melt Amber vs. All Bosses (6.7 Stygian Onslaught - Dire)

I had to take a break to focus on testing and planning for 12-1, especially the first half. I was playing around on ‪@johannism69‬'s account to clear my head and happened to get this 37-cost Melt Amber run in Dire difficulty.

Regarding the Starter Characters Only run, I currently think a 12-1-1 run is only viable if I do all of the following in the same run:
- Stagger all 4 Wayobs.
- Defeat the first two Wayobs simultaneously.
- Stun-lock the Frostnight Scion for the entire fight.

The first two Wayobs must be defeated simultaneously to sync the animations of the last two, allowing me to stagger both with Baron Bunny. When the Frostnight Scion spawns, it has an Electro aura for about half a second, which I can use for the initial stagger into the stun-lock.

For the second half, I need Maguu Kenki to dash backward toward the Wilderness Hunter's spawn point so all of my abilities can hit both enemies.

I'll keep trying to find a solution for 12-1. I haven't had many failed attempts because I haven't rolled many good cards across the accounts over the past few days, but I have uploaded some failed attempts here: https://youtu.be/zcEqxX4XGhY.

The 12-1 enemy lineup for the 6.7 Spiral Abyss looks extremely difficult for the starter characters. This version also coincides with a major real-life commitment, so I may have to take it slowly.

I did the Melt Amber Both Sides run first to provide some content while I work on the Starter Characters Only run.
