It's been two full years now since I started this channel. My first videos were made using my iPhone and were all live recordings of me doing covers. Eventually I figured out how I could make videos of the recording process using a digital 8-trck recorder and some basic video editing, and from there I have slowly gotten better at the whole YouTube thing. Somehow I've managed to create over 130 videos dedicated purely to my interpretation of the various covers along with the music of some of my musician friends. And though I can find a reason for why I wish I could redo every video, I am confident that they represent a genuine effort to put my best out there and I would hope any music lover could find one song they really like. I am currently setting at 304 subscribers, and when I imagine 304 people actually hearing the music I put so much work into it brings me great joy and a sense of worth to my music.
I hope in two years from now I can say I have 608 subscribers, but even if it's still 304 I'll still be just as grateful.

I've got several more "singing the hits" lined up but since they are so easy to create I've been able to continue steady working on my next proper video where I actually play the instruments instead of cheating and if all goes smooth it will be posted by tomorrow morning. I've got everything tracked except for some lead guitar I want to add. I hope you like reggae because I covered a very popular tune everyone knows well and has been covered by many people, but my inspiration wasn't the original version but another hugely famous musicians cover of the original, so mine is a cover of a cover if you will. Based on that little bit of info some of you astute music fans can probably figure out what song it is.....

I just want to say a sincere and heart felt thank you to every person that has subscribed to my channel or just took a moment to listen to one of my songs. The past year and a half I've been doing YouTube I have matured more as a musician than I did the entire previous 30 years I've been a musician. It has allowed me inject some of my personality into the music I make, and I have slowly began to find my voice. Every time a musician puts their art out for the world to hear, a little part of themselves goes along with it, and if you've listened to one of my songs and it made you feel something, that something is what I felt creating it.
I love you all and never forget.......the answer is always more music
