There was a time in my life when everything around me was chaotic.

No control over my schedule.

No comfort.

No motivational speeches.

No ideal conditions.

What I learned during that time is simple:
When your environment is chaotic, structure becomes your anchor.

I didn’t get stronger because I had more motivation.

I got stronger because I created routine where none existed.

Same wake-up time.

Same habits — day after day.

Not because it was easy.

But because it was the only way forward.

That experience shaped how I coach today.

What an incredible weekend in Mexico. 🇲🇽🔥

I just wrapped up the Strong Endurance® Seminar with my mentors — Pavel Tsatsouline and Fabio Zonin — and it honestly felt like the opportunity of a lifetime. Even after taking this seminar multiple times, Pavel’s genius still blows my mind. Every single session taught me something new.

This weekend only reinforced my belief that Strong Endurance and anti-glycolytic training are truly the most effective way to build power, resilience, and long-term strength for both athletes and everyday people.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Yoana Teran, someone whose work I respect deeply — and reconnecting with people who inspire me to be better every day.

But it wasn’t just about the learning…
It was also about the people.

I met new friends, reconnected with familiar faces, and even met some amazing fans who have been following my journey for a long time — people I had only interacted with online until now.

I’m leaving Mexico with:
✨ New knowledge
✨ New programs and protocols
✨ New ways to help my students
✨ Beautiful memories
✨ And a deeper appreciation for this community

Most people don’t need a new program. They need better coaching.

Yesterday, I met a new student named Tim — all the way from Australia 🇦🇺.
He’s a dad, works long hours on an oil rig, and has been training with kettlebells for a little while.
He was following Simple & Sinister, but recently hit a wall.
He felt tired. Burnt out. Progress stalled.

So he reached out for help.

When we met online (morning for me, night for him — 12 hours apart!), I immediately saw that his form was already excellent. What he needed wasn’t a new plan… it was refinement.
The 10% difference that turns good training into great results.

That’s what coaching is about.
Not just sets and reps — but eyes that see what you can’t.

She came in with a cane and doubts. She left with hope.

Her name is Gloria, she’s 79 years old.
Since COVID, she hadn’t exercised. She told me she had gotten weaker, lost confidence, and now had to use a cane just to get around.
She even said she sometimes had to crawl up the stairs in her own home.

When she walked into the Kettlebell Club for her one-on-one assessment, she wasn’t sure if she belonged here.
She told me, “I don’t think I can do this.”

But she gave it a chance.
She took a leap of faith.

During our session, I showed her how to connect with her body again — how to use her strength from the ground up.
How to make a fist, brace her abs, squeeze her glutes, and engage her nervous system.
I taught her how to squat using the TRX, how to plank safely, and even how to pull herself up with control.

Then something incredible happened — she started to believe.
Not in me, but in herself.

At one point, she lost her balance and fell…
But she got back up.
And when she did, she smiled — because she realized she could.

Before she left, I gave her a simple routine to follow at home. She thanked me and said,
“You gave me hope again.”

That’s what this is all about.
It’s not about the perfect workout.
It’s about helping people believe in their strength again.
