Based on the name Gallery Halkhata we started dreaming of starting a YouTube Channel a long time ago. To make our dream true, we are interested to establish a virtual place with help of various artists in the art department, where is an arrangement of talk of artists on art, opinion, life-story, gossip, thoughts, works, and different aspects of their gallery presentation. We hope and believe through our efforts Bangladeshi arts will be able to reach all people of our country, establish a connection between art and the public as well as Bengali artists will have a new level in the direction of art. In fact, aspects presented in the art will not only be able to reach each and every corner of our country, but also the world.

Marc Chagall (1887–1985) was a visionary modern artist whose work blended fantasy, memory, and emotion with bold color and poetic symbolism. Born in Vitebsk, in present-day Belarus, Chagall grew up in a Jewish community that deeply influenced his artistic language. His paintings often depict floating figures, village scenes, lovers, musicians, and biblical stories, creating dreamlike worlds filled with spirituality and nostalgia.
Chagall was associated with modern movements such as Cubism and Fauvism, yet he never fully belonged to any single style. Instead, he developed a unique visual voice rooted in imagination and personal experience. Beyond painting, he worked in stained glass, murals, stage design, and illustration, leaving a lasting mark on both fine and applied arts. Chagall’s art continues to inspire viewers with its emotional warmth, lyrical beauty, and celebration of love, faith, and human connection.

Paul Gauguin (1848–1903) was a revolutionary French Post-Impressionist painter whose bold style forever changed the direction of modern art. Rejecting the realism and conventional techniques of his time, Gauguin pursued a deeper expression of emotion, spirituality, and cultural symbolism. His works are known for their vivid colors, simplified forms, and strong outlines—an approach that set him apart from many of his contemporaries.

Gauguin spent significant periods of his life in Tahiti and the Marquesas Islands, where he found a new world of inspiration. These journeys deeply influenced his artistic vision. He sought liberation from European society and aimed to capture the purity, mystery, and natural beauty of island life. Paintings like Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?, Spirit of the Dead Watching, and Tahitian Women on the Beach reveal his fascination with local culture, myth, and identity.

His use of vibrant, symbolic colors and expressive brushwork helped shape the Synthetist movement and inspired generations of modern artists. Though controversial during his lifetime, Gauguin's works are now celebrated for their profound emotional depth and unique artistic voice. His legacy continues to influence contemporary art across the world.

Leonardo da Vinci, the true embodiment of the Renaissance spirit, was not only a painter but also a visionary who merged science and art with extraordinary mastery. His paintings reflect deep observation, emotion, and technical brilliance. Among his most celebrated works, Mona Lisa stands as a symbol of mystery and perfection. Her gentle smile and lifelike presence demonstrate Leonardo’s groundbreaking use of sfumato, a technique that blends colors and tones seamlessly. Another masterpiece, The Last Supper, captures the powerful moment of emotional revelation among Christ and his disciples, showcasing Leonardo’s genius in composition and human expression.

Leonardo’s art reveals his fascination with anatomy, light, and proportion—he studied the human body and nature meticulously to achieve realism. His sketches and unfinished paintings display the mind of an inventor and thinker, always exploring new ideas. Through his works, Leonardo redefined the boundaries of art, transforming it into a union of beauty, science, and imagination. His legacy continues to inspire artists and art lovers across centuries, proving that true genius is timeless.

George Inness was a renowned American landscape painter of the 19th century, celebrated for his poetic and spiritual approach to nature. Born in 1825 in Newburgh, New York, he began his artistic journey with a strong interest in depicting realistic landscapes. Over time, his style evolved, moving away from strict realism to a more expressive and atmospheric form. His works often feature soft light, misty horizons, and subtle details, reflecting a deep spiritual connection with the natural world.

Inness was inspired by the landscapes of Europe, especially during his time in Italy and France, where he was influenced by the Barbizon School of painting. Later in life, his art was shaped by the spiritual teachings of Emanuel Swedenborg, which led him to see nature as a reflection of divine presence. His landscapes are not just visual scenes but emotional and spiritual experiences.

He is considered a key figure in the development of American Tonalism, blending light and color to create harmony and mood. His legacy lives on as one of America’s greatest landscape artists. He passed away in 1894, leaving behind a body of work that continues to inspire artists and art lovers worldwide.

Jackson Pollock was an influential American painter and a leading figure in the abstract expressionist movement. Born in 1912 in Wyoming, Pollock became famous for his unique “drip painting” technique, where he would pour, splatter, and drip paint onto large canvases laid flat on the floor. This method allowed him to express raw emotion and energy, breaking away from traditional brushwork and composition. Pollock’s paintings captured movement, rhythm, and spontaneity, reflecting his inner struggles and passion for creativity.

His most famous works, such as No. 5, 1948 and Autumn Rhythm, revolutionized modern art by emphasizing process over form. Pollock’s studio became his performance space, where painting itself was an act of expression. Despite his fame, he battled personal demons and alcoholism, which ultimately led to his tragic death in 1956 at the age of 44.

Pollock’s innovative approach to art inspired generations of artists and redefined the possibilities of abstract painting. Today, he remains a symbol of artistic freedom, energy, and rebellion — an artist who transformed chaos into beauty through his powerful, expressive style.
