It dawned on me this morning that, while I mentioned it at the end of a few recent videos, I never made a text announcement about my yearly winter break. I'll be taking two weeks off to spend time with the family during the holidays. I'll be back on Jan 4th for a livestream and then then Jan 5th we'll start back into the typical reactions.

Hey everyone. I'm a bit under the weather so I'll be taking a day or two off. There won't be videos today or tomorrow. The updated schedule is Wed - Friday with 2 videos each day; 5 of those videos will be this week's theme (Multilingual Vocals) and the remaining 1 will be a Special Selection. Saturday and Sunday will be the usual of an Album Review and a Livestream, respectively. Thanks for your patience.

I think the spreadsheet is complete now, at least regarding regular and album reactions. I spent all day adding over 500 videos and the spreadsheet now reports 2689 reactions! That's simply wild! I'm gonna take a week or two off from it since I'm beyond tired of staring at Google Docs but I'll start adding the Livestream reactions to it in October (at the latest).

I've added a new tab to the CR Spreadsheet -- the Reaction Database! Here you'll be able to see which bands and which songs or albums I've reacted to as well as the release year of the work, the date that I reacted to it, and a link to the reaction.

This is still a work in progress but the artist and song name is present for every normal reaction. I'll be adding livestream and multi-band Creator Request reactions in the coming weeks. I did notice there were a couple of missing reactions so if you notice a missing reaction then please let me know either by commenting here, emailing me, or DM-ing me on Discord.

Here's some flamenco inspired brutal death metal with some excellent fretless 5 string bass work. I was hoping for more of the flamenco but if you go in expecting the song to lean more towards the metal then you're probably good.

There's an extra video today where I'm trying a new format and am looking for feedback on what works and what doesn't. It's a full album reaction but a bit lighter on analysis, though I do include a view of my note taking process while I'm listening. I'm also planning on doing companion videos to some of these that are more analysis heavy if I think the album has enough to dig into after reading comments and giving it a second listen. I'm kicking this format off with an Ephel Duath album!
