🌸 Safari in Bandipur Tiger Reserve 🌸

Bandipur National Park is a wildlife enthusiasts paradise and a safari in Bandipur is one of the beat ways to witness the animals in their natural habitat. The forest area is known for a lot of endangered species like tigers, Indian elephants, sloth bears, jackals etc.

You can choose either of these options for the safari:
1. Jeep Safari - a single jeep can accommodate upto 6 people. It takes you on a bumpy ride through the jungle allowing you to have an up-close experience with the animals.
- Timings : 6 AM and 3 PM
- Cost : ~ Rs 5000
2. Canter Safari - it can accommodate upto 18 people. It is a more relaxed and comfortable option for tourists who want to explore the jungle from a distance. The windows are huge and allow you to see the animals clearly.
- Timings : 6 AM and 3 PM
- Cost : ~ Rs 2500

Important things to remember:
👉🏻 You can book the safari online through government website, jungle lodges or you can ask your stay to book it for you.
👉🏻 The government website allows you to book a safari for 90 minutes while jungle lodges give you a full 180 minutes experience.
👉🏻 If you want to opt for jeep safari, book in advance as it gets sold out really early. Even we couldn’t get one and had to go in a Canter.
👉🏻 You can book multiple safaris for better sightings.
