👉 How do I get my business to actually show up when people ask AI for recommendations?

Good question — and the answer is simpler than you might think.

Here’s the thing: AI tools like ChatGPT don’t pull live data from Google Maps or anything like that (unless it’s a tool specifically designed to). Instead, they answer based on what they already “know” — stuff they were trained on.

So if you want AI to know who you are and recommend you, you’ve gotta make sure you’re out there in all the right places.

✅ Have a website that’s clear, up-to-date, and explains exactly what you do and where you work.
✅ Make sure you’ve got good reviews and ratings on trusted sites — Yelp, Google, TripAdvisor, whatever’s relevant for your industry.
✅ Get mentioned on other websites — like blogs, local news, and directories. AI picks up those little breadcrumbs about your business.

💡 Pro tip: Use natural, question-based language on your website — the way real people ask questions. Like instead of just “plumbing services,” add a question like:
“Who’s the best plumber in [your city]?” to your FAQ or homepage.

Those little tweaks make it easier for AI to connect the dots and associate you with the right kind of searches.
