Dear Subscibers, hopeful subscribers, and Whisky Whistle Crewmates,
My dear co-host Rocky has departed this world.
Goodbye Rocky, little buddy. Thanks for everything.
I am dealing with this heartache as best I can -
Rocky was with my kids’ entire lives and a third of mine and my better half’s. He was a big member of our family despite his mere 4 pounds (after a good meal!)

ps while we loved our little purebred Yorkie, my family would like to suggest adopting a rescue dog(or cat) if you are planning to add a furry family member. There are too many abandoned dogs that need a home.

Whisky Friends! Do you make wine or beer or whisky or or makgeolli or soju at home? I love making them all! I foraged some quince, which is quite laborious to core and slice(missing my fruit crusher and press…) then I heated it gently to about 50°C and added and some lemon peel to help with the pectin, and enough cane sugar to get to 24 brix. Next time I’ll try more quince and some apple to try a true cider style.
