Big thanks to @vintagetanksolutions2640 for this killer piece! No more rusty tanks in my car. Opted for this version over a fuel cell cause my dump truck on a trunk was just too damn nice to cut up!
Spent the weekend sanding and getting rid of paint. Forgot how tedious this task was since i haven’t done something like this in years.. spent the better part of the day contemplating the cost effectiveness of buying consumables + hours grinding VS sandblasting the whole car.
I think ultimately what i have decided to do is grind down all the flat surfaces (i.e. the fenders, doors, quarters, roof, and hatch) and have the engine bay, underside, and interior blasted. What’s your guys opinion on this approach?
40+ HRs worked this week for clients, multiple other misc tasks completed, huge project with my machine shop underway, my LS motor about 90-95% complete and ready to take home, and a new episode for YouTube filmed and currently editing! WHO AM I THIS WEEK???? i feel accomplished ❤
