For the last couple of weeks, I have been off and on, working on my next big project depicting 1944/45 Ardennes forest combat. I had such a fun time making my impromptu Battle of the Bulge diorama from unbox #7 that it has encouraged me to lean into it even more.

In addition to the largest battlefield I have ever made (you can see some fighting positions taking shape in the images below), I am planning on creating a small (very small hehe) town complete with buildings and other accessories. The houses need some finish work but are getting close to completion.

I have now turned my attention to carving out the battlefield. The idea is to build modular terrain with interchangeable buildings and accessories, both snowy and green.

Stay tuned for updates, as the reveal of the finished product will be accompanied by the largest WW2 unbox I have ever done with a focus on Bulge Americans and Germans.

I welcome input and feedback on my project. I am always fascinated by things I have learned interacting with you guys through the comments in my videos. Please let me know what some of the must-haves would be in depicting a more authentic battlefield.

I will be interviewing Andy Neilson from King & Country! The man, the Myth, the Legends himself has graciously volunteered to be interviewed for the channel and the fans.

Some background, Andy contacted me via e-mail a few weeks ago when he heard about me through one of the collectors he visited in the US, which kicked off a series of e-mails discussing good times to video chat.

I've already have an informal intro meeting with him. Truly a wonderful guy who is incredibly passionate (and hilarious) about the Toy Soldier hobby. We talked all about how he got into the hobby and how he started King & Country. It was a wonderful story, and he told it so well. For example I've learned that many of the figures poses are inspired by his military training! He does all the concept sketches himself.

As it turns out I am meeting with him again, this time for the formal interview, which I will post on the channel in the coming days.

If you have questions you want me to ask him, please comment them here and I will do my best to fit them in!

And if that wasn't enough, he invited me to come visit the Main store in Hong Kong! So I will most likely be flying out in February - more on that as well.

How cool is this? I can see at a glance what the top listings are, make sure I am not overpaying. The catalog Info tells me how many figures are in the set, gives me the correct set number. I can browse all major K & C catalogs, I don't have to guess what set I am looking for.

Did you forget what WS383 looks like? Just take a look at the catalog, click it and search the best listings on eBay.
