Mysteriously lost 50 subscribers yesterday!
Usually drops that big are due to old, inactive accounts closing but, hopefully not due to the fact I tried livestreaming with audio/video haha

I’m trying to get into the routine of shorter streams at 30m, 1hr, and 1hr 30m with clearer audio.

It was nice that a viewer wanted me to jump on with live commentary even though they left before I could connect my microphone haha

HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED:
I was actually not at a Jedi Enclave last week as I had previously implied in my last post.
I was practicing with Thai Forest Buddhist monks in an old, remodeled, and repurposed convent in New England for an extended silent mediation retreat. This is not my first rodeo but, it was difficult due to the news happening in the country while I was there. For that time though, with intention, our dedication was to knowing and observing the awareness. Being aware of the rising and dissipating of thought. Of
Change. The monk leading the retreat, with translation from another kind buddhist nun, spoke during tea time. Participatants were able to ask questions or discuss briefly about the topics presented before we all returned to practice once again. The beautiful thing about this form of mediation is that it based entirely in movement. Mahasati mediation (or dynamic mediation) is a reformed approach to common eyes-closed stillness meditation.
Mahasati is worth looking into as it encourages eyes naturally open and various hand motions that create a cycle of sorts. The awareness of the movements of the arm and the whole process is very different than traditional Vipassina or insight mediation. This form also encourages walking (w/ no hand movements as you are walking and fully aware of that movement instead), sitting, or standing.
Do I consider myself a Jedi? Not yet.
Do I believe a Jedi strives for well-rounded abilities such as mastery of the mind, agility of the body, and a strong defensive lightsaber technique? Yes. The mind is an aspect though so, that’s why I shared this today.

When I left, I saw news that there are were group of monks walking for peace to Washington, D.C.
It was very inspiring to hear about.
They are still walking!

Jedi are many things. Without knowing awareness, they are walking without the nature of the force.

These monks walk with the force.
They are enough Jedi to me.
The closest thing to it.
There’s another way.

Know awareness.
Know peace.

~~Updates~~

The REALITY:
Having ADHD can really impact one’s ability to plan, organize, follow-through with plans or difficulty making plans all together.
I have been immensely zapped.

The GOAL:
Making more LEGO Stop Motion content NO MATTER WHAT in 2026. Not just because I want to be a filmmaker again but, I must trust that the process is always healthy in strengthening and restoring some sense of step-making in my life.

The PAST:
The interests I had growing up (LEGO, movies/politics/Star Wars/Indiana Jones/history/futurism/etc) kept me, an otherwise educationally-struggling student, striving onwards towards new roles, being selected to fill some, and being elected to serve another. By the time I started my own youtube channel in 2009, I was leading in a musical, serving as Student Body President for over 1,000 Middleschool students, and making LEGO stop motions animations in my free time while I coped with a family tragedy while writing brickfilm treatments in class and being a C student in the classes “that counted”. I always took solace in the A’s in art ^_^

The FIRST END.
My activity on this channel largely dwindled due to the fact that I started going to a new visual and performing art’s school for half the day extended into the early evening which took up the time I would usually use for stop motion filmmaking after school.

The RETURN.
Moo Cow went viral somehow and gained 4 Million views in 2018. It brought me back to the channel while I was in the midst of another complicated time in my life. I am happy that I chose to remaster my old Indiana Jones stop motion films and other classics.

The ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM.
I have always been interested in politics. Ever since 1999’s Star Wars - Episode I: The Phantom Menace senate chamber scene on Coruscant. Peak cinema. Core memory. I have been fascinated with the process ever since. Jib Jab’s funny 2004/2008 silly singing campaign videos too. Why do I mention this? As you can see, I have about nine different self-made (no one ever has asked me or paid me to make these) LEGO stop motion political ads for very specific candidates I specifically agree with and who I wanted to see elected. Not one of these great candidates has been elected for the office they were campaigning for. It’s just the reality. Am I glad I did? Yes. I had less means to record much audio at the time of making these. It was during a time of a lot of political involvement as a local election official and a regular presidential campaign volunteer for various candidates throughout each cycle. So, that’s that story. Do I plan on more? Maybe at some point. My directorial vision is set on making new stories.
