Welcome to My Wild Holm! Ryan and Melodi here, and guess what? In the Spring of 2022, we bought a 62 acre island on a lake in the wilderness of Canada and we're building our own homestead!
Follow every step of our build as we turn our wilderness island into the off grid property of our dreams!
Things have definitely changed over the past couple of years. It's made us realize that life can 'take a turn' pretty quickly. It also made us want to build our own off grid self-sustainable life in the beautiful Canadian wilderness. Of course we know that it won't be without its challenges but that's never stopped us before!

Hello to you all!! Tonight is typically the night we usually have our livestream but we don't think we'll have power to do one so we'll try to do one in the next few days.
