How to Love Without Losing Your Way 🛡️✨
"Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves." — Matthew 10:16
Jesus warned us that following Him wouldn't always bring peace in our relationships—sometimes, the truth creates a divide. So, how do we handle it when the people we love are walking a different path or involved in things that are spiritually dangerous?
In Matthew 10:16, we are given the ultimate strategy for this spiritual battle:
1. STAY WISE (The Serpent): Don’t be naive about the spiritual reality. Recognize the "wolves" and the pressures of the world. Use discernment to protect your soul and guard what God has entrusted to you.
2. STAY INNOCENT (The Dove): Remain anchored in Christ. You can be present in someone’s life without joining their practices. Jesus ate with sinners but never compromised the truth.
Love doesn’t always mean agreement. It means being honest with compassion. We are called to be the light, but we must be careful not to let the darkness pull at our light. Stay kind, stay awake, and keep praying—your prayers might be the very spiritual covering they need.
