Musician, author and philanthropist. BSc Geology and Physics graduate from the University of Aberdeen.
Former Decca recording artist, Shane Thomas is responsible for mixing and mastering her tracks for her first album. Titled ‘My Journey’, the album contains five classical covers and five original compositions. Released on Spotify 20/12/23.
The single, 'Summer Winds', is a collaboration between Elaine Yu, singer Callum Rae and producer Jim Lang.
Timeless EP contains four original tracks. Released on Spotify 17/4/26.

While I'm taking a few months off from having piano lessons from my teacher, I found some time to learn pieces for fun by myself. This one is the first of the lot. I'm also currently learning Khachaturian Sonatina in C major (1st movement) by myself.
It's healthy to remind myself that it doesn't have to all be gruelling work towards an ARSM diploma programme and I can just enjoy playing piano for fun.

After the release of My Journey, I wanted to make string quartet versions of my originals to accompany my piano playing and to re-record The Secrets of the Universe again on piano. And so the Timeless EP was born of those ideas.
