For a long time I've been thinking about what to say about this project... I've been working on it since before the release of Arcade 2080's and I have no words to describe how proud I am to be able to release it, this is my favorite project.
I remember that what motivated me to start this album was a very sudden passion for liminal spaces, I remember spending hours browsing pinterest, saving MANY photos in the folder for this album. These photos strangely give us a sense of peace and comfort, and at that moment it was what I needed most.
Last year was a dark year for me, I don't think I've ever felt as bad psychologically as I did at that time, and this album was born out of those feelings. Producing many of the songs on this album was like an escape valve. It's a special project, but it's also a painful project, I see a lot of myself in everything here.
It may sound ridiculous, but working on this album helped me a lot, what did me good during all this time was music, this style of music especially, I think I rediscovered myself musically during the period when I was unwell.
I have an emotional attachment to all the tracks (but I must admit that the sequence from track 1-3 has my heart). I invite you to my blue hour, I want you to experience this album, cry, laugh, scream, sing, dance, feel everything! It's a vulnerable space to all 💙.
I also want to remind everyone who is going through difficult times that: we can go anywhere we want and if you don't have the strength, remember that it won't always be like this, it's just bad days, not a lifetime.
