This beauty flew in from the USA, and her lips were the perfect canvas 💗 Thin, pale, and delicate skin like this heals beautifully when treated with the right technique.

Because of dryness and slight scarring, I worked with a smooth “glide” to prevent trauma and protect the skin. Minimizing trauma is key if you want the healed color to stay true and soft ✨

👉 Pro Tip: If lips look overly red right after the procedure, it’s usually a technique issue. Gentle application = better pigment retention and less swelling.

Thin lips can actually be more challenging than thicker ones since they swell and traumatize easily. A calm hand and controlled pressure make all the difference 💪

1️⃣ Add a few drops of bright purple or red into dark brown to keep the healed colour from turning grey. This keeps the depth looking rich and natural 🍇🍒

2️⃣ A soft touch of light coral in the centre can create a subtle glow and make lips look more 3-D 🪸

3️⃣ Ombré heals best on an even lip tone. The smoother the canvas, the softer the blend 🎨

4️⃣ Layering is key: dark contour, soft centre shade, and a blend tone. Finish with extra depth and highlights for contrast ⚫️⚪️

5️⃣ Less is more. The right pigments and gentle passes give true-to-colour results with less trauma 🥊

6️⃣ Keep a relaxed grip. Cross-hatching, circular motions, and pressure control create the perfect blend 🤙
