Dear TBF Family,
Happy New Month! 🎉 Welcome to August, our month to walk confidently in God's grace, purpose, and abundant blessings.
In the Bible, the number 8 is often associated with new beginnings, renewal, resurrection, and a fresh start. It reminds us that God is able to begin something new, restore what has been lost, and lead us into a new season of hope.
Just as Jesus rose to bring new life, may this eighth month bring fresh opportunities, renewed strength, divine favour, answered prayers, and spiritual growth in your life.
As God's Word says: "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?"

5 Tips for Helping Your Child Read Early
Start with Sounds, Not Letters
Focus on phonemic awareness—help your child recognize the sounds that letters make (e.g., /b/ for B). This builds a strong foundation for blending sounds into words.
Make Reading Fun and Interactive
Use colorful books, sound effects, and ask questions while reading. Make it a bonding time, not a chore. The more enjoyable it is, the more they’ll want to read.
Read Aloud Daily
Reading aloud builds vocabulary and listening skills. Even a few minutes a day of consistent story time can make a big difference over time.
Label Everyday Items at Home
Put labels on things like “Door,” “Chair,” “Cup,” etc. This helps them connect words with objects and reinforces sight word recognition naturally.
Be Patient and Celebrate Every Progress
Don’t rush the process. Every child learns at their pace. Celebrate small wins like identifying a letter or sounding out a word—it builds confidence and motivation.
