Welcome to DC 4260 Productions, a channel where you can find independent (and brutally honest) reviews of Train Simulator (classic) DLC, complemented by occasional real-life railfanning videos from my home country of New Zealand, or wherever else I end up visiting in the world.
Starting in March 2023, I've occasionally made my own (or adapted existing) Thomas The Tank Engine stories in Trainz 2019, and also experimented with making stories using the new 'Wonders of Sodor' game. My favourite episode of the TV show is Season 5 - Episode 2 'Horrid Lorry', while my favourite Railway Series book is either 'Mountain Engines' or 'Duke The Lost Engine'.

(Wednesday 16/09/2026 - a busy day of busyness)
Picture 1 - ETM 432 (KiwiRail's track evaluation railcar) crossing the Waitahu River, between Reefton and Westport. Incidentally, we happened to hear Toni Basil's "Mickey" on the radio while chasing the railcar.
Pictures 2, 3 and 4 - First time I had ever been to the town of Reefton, where I found TR 908 (of all things) and single-fairlie R 28; the latter is a steam locomotive about which I've known for many years, but had never seen before today.
Pictures 5 and 6 - DXCs at work on the line between Stillwater and Westport
Picture 7 (lucky seven) - The unusual Davidson bush locomotive on display next to SH7 (between Stillwater and Ngahere)
Picture 8 - DXC 5039 arriving in Greymouth with the TranzAlpine.
Pictures 9 and 10 - DXC 5419 and DFB 7267 on the shunt from Greymouth to Hokitika and back. I'm pretty sure this was the first time I had ever seen Fifty-Four Nineteen; certainly not the first for Seventy-Two Sixty-Seven.
