(DO NOT reupload any of videos - or use any of my footage - without my permission).

Welcome to DC 4260 Productions, a channel where you can find independent (and honest) reviews of Train Sim World 6 or Train Simulator (classic) DLC, complemented by the occasional real-life railfanning video from my home country of New Zealand, or wherever else I end up visiting in the world.

Between March 2023 and June 2025, I also made my own (or adapted existing) Thomas The Tank Engine stories in Trainz 2019, and have since experimented with making stories using the new 'Wonders of Sodor' game. My favourite episode from the original show is a tie between Season 5 - Episode 2 'Horrid Lorry' and Season 4 - Episodes 1 & 2 'Granpuff' and 'Sleeping Beauty'.

Disclaimer - I have no commercial connection to Dovetail Games or any third-party developers making content for TSC and TSW. None of my reviews are sponsored.

It's just over one year to the day since I explored Rivet's infamous West Cornwall Local route in real life.

Work on a new Wonders of Sodor video has begun, but please be patient; the video will be ready when it's ready.

To be clear, it's not a new story like 'Coaches & Cricket' and 'You Gotta Problem (Street Beat)'. Instead, I'll be seeing how the game is doing following its first patch.

Just over one year to the day since I was at the Swanage Railway, where I met Dark DJ himself and rode behind a 'U' class 2-6-0 from Swanage to Corfe Castle and back.

Now that the first patch for Wonders of Sodor is out, I'm considering making an updated review (of sorts), but it'll be ready when it's ready.

As for what James was looking at during this stop at Kildane, your guess is as good as mine.

One year to the day since I visited the Talyllyn Railway, famous for being the world's first preserved railway (and the real life counterpart of the Skarloey Railway).

The 25th of April (Anzac Day) is very significant for Australia and New Zealand, as it's a day for remembering our fallen soldiers. One of our preserved steamers - AB 608 - is named 'Passchendaele' as a World War 1 memorial locomotive, having received the name in the 1920s.

One year to the day since I rode aboard the fascinating Class 230 'D-Trains', rebuilt from ex-London Underground D78 stock. I remember wanting to ride on the full Bidston to Wrexham Central line, but only ended up going as far south as Hawarden Bridge.

So apparently, Dunedin Railways have rebranded themselves as 'Dunedin Railway Station'. They claim that it's "to better represent the full experience they offer", but I disagree with that idea.

I may not have been to Dunedin in 19 years, but that doesn't mean I can't question what the hell the tourist train operator was thinking with that name change. On the surface, it gives the impression that they're trying to focus on the station itself more than the scenic journey to Port Chalmers or Pukerangi aboard their trains (hauled by DJ diesel locomotives). You would think that they'd want their name to focus on the core of their business, and that's what the 'Dunedin Railways' name did; if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

At the time of posting, there are at least 70 comments on the company's Facebook post where they announced this rebrand, and the vast majority of those comments are from people opposing the rebrand. What's that telling us?

'Tis also one year to the day since I rode aboard the Tyne & Wear Metro, starting at South Hylton and finishing at Chillingham Road.
