And yet another typhoon. Just days after Typhoon Kalmaegi, another powerful storm is now hitting the Philippines. Super Typhoon Uwan (Fung-Wong) is making landfall tonight in Northern Luzon, bringing destructive winds and heavy rainfall across several provinces.
PAGASA has raised Signal No. 5 over:
Catanduanes
Polillo Islands
Northern Camarines Norte (Daet, Paracale, Vinzons, Jose Panganiban, Mercedes, Basud)
Eastern Camarines Sur (Caramoan, Garchitorena, Tinambac, Lagonoy, Siruma)
Signal No. 4 areas include parts of Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and the rest of Camarines Sur, while Signal Nos. 3ā2 are in effect across wide areas of Northern and Central Luzon.
Letās keep Northern Luzon in our thoughts tonight. Stay safe, stay informed, and take care of one another.
My heart is heavy right now. So many of our kababayans are stranded in their homes, some are on rooftops with their children, even newborn babies, because the floods have risen so high that even 4-wheel vehicles canāt pass through the roads.
Please, I ask you from the bottom of my heart. letās pray for them. š Letās pray for strength, rescue, and safety. Letās pray for every single family right now holding on, waiting, hoping, crying for help.
But I also want to speak honestly.
We saw this coming.
The warnings for this typhoon were loud and clear. Every news outlet, every hour, for days. we were told. We knew. And yet, again, so many didnāt evacuate.
This isnāt the first time. Every single year, we go through this. And every year, we see the same heartbreaking stories. Why do we still wait and see? Why do we risk our lives, and our familiesā lives?
Iām not judging anyone Iām truly not. I know it's not always easy. I wouldnāt know what to do either if I were trapped on my rooftop. But thatās exactly why I would never wait to get to that point. My heart breaks seeing people beg for help online when we had the chance to act earlier.
Here are some of the places that are heavily affected and here's what I know, weāre seeing the consequences. š
Siquijor is already in an 8-hour blackoutābecause they ran low on fuel. Low on fuel during a typhoon?!
Bohol lost cellular signal for the same reasonāno fuel!
Cebu, catastrophic flooding across the city, submerging entire neighborhoods, sweeping away vehicles, and turning city streets into deadly rapids.
Palawan is experiencing landslides because of countless road projects that didnāt include protective measures like netting or riprap. corruption at its finest.
We always say āstay safe,ā but how can people stay safe when local governments and agencies fail to prepare, over and over again?
When will the Philippines learn? When will our officials learn? Low-IQ leadership. Low-IQ workmanship. We deserve better than this. Our people deserve better than this.
And now, another super typhoon is forming, while the current one hasnāt even passed yet. š We cannot be complacent. We must act with urgency.
Please! if you live in high-risk areas, prepare NOW. Evacuate EARLY. Do not wait for the floodwaters to rise. Do not wait for rescue. Letās learn. Letās do better.
We are praying for everyone affected. And we are praying that next time, we all take the warnings seriously.
Thank you so much to everyone who watched the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wLz1... ā And Iām incredibly grateful for all of you who donated to support Lynās animal shelter! I would like to make a shout out to all donors but Iām not sure if youād like that. So Iāll just thank you all in this post. Yes you! You know who you are! Thank you so much! āŗļø
We raised ā±52,000 in just one day ā I was honestly shocked and so touched by your generosity. šš¾ I received all this donos the same day after posting the video.
Internet comparison between Thailand and Philippines. Look at the 4g connection of Philippines itās full or red marks. Those areas have a very very slow to dead spots. I wonder how many years do we need to wait to get to the level of Thailand now when it comes to infrastructure. Any wild guess?? Another thing is those rural areas even the ones that are big tourist destinations like Palawan still have daily power outages. š¤¦š½āāļø
A lot of retired men or those close to retirement come to the Philippines with the goal of finding a wife, sometimes women in their early 20s or even teenagers to take back to their home country as their wives.
But it makes me wonder: What are they really expecting in the long run?
If someone marries a very young woman, maybe one coming from a completely different background or even from poverty, do they think such a relationship will automatically work out in a different culture and lifestyle?
My real question is, why not choose someone closer to your ageāor at least someone with a similar level of maturity?

As the year wraps up, the Philippines is finalizing the shutdown of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs). Recent reports indicate that approximately 24,000 former POGO employees have already left the country.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts:
Do you believe this decision has benefited the Philippines, or has it hindered our development? One thing for sure is it affected the real Estate Industry.
