I am a "firewood hobbyist." This channel is where I share aspects of this hobby, by showing how I produce firewood, and other general outdoor activities. I can be reached by email at FirewoodInTheField@gmail.com
For anyone who made it on my first livestream today (the one with sound) after that cut where I struggled to get it done everything went much more smoothly (stage fright perhaps? 😅). All the big logs cut into rounds and then quarters. Maybe a splitting live tomorrow morning?
Started the New Year by sleeping in. But did make it to the woodyard in the afternoon to make another tote of Ash/Maple mix. The extra splits went into my personal woodshed to finish off a rack
If you have not heard of Frontier Firewood, you might soon! 11 different YouTube Channels are all going to get a chance to run his Echo 7310p that he had ported (before he even gets to run it himself). I'm excited to be a part of this project
Its become a family tradition for me to bring a face-cord of firewood to my Dad's house for Thanksgiving. Then, we have all kids load it into the rack in my Dad's garage.
This is about as handy as a pocket on a shirt! My box blade is what I use for ballast weight the most,,, adding a receiver means I can leave it intlstalled and also use it to move log splitters or whatever around the property
Anyone out there able to help ID what kind of wood this is? Came in a tree service drop-off. Kinda has me thinking Hickory but. Not sure about that bark. ‪@FoothillsFirewood‬ do you know what this is Brit?
Just got these pictures sent to me while I'm at work. It's good to have friends!! Free wood delivered to the yard. Help me determine the type if you can (I am guessing Maple?)
