We’re anticipating a really wet weekend, so Woody will be up on the roof today helping the guys get all the sheathing on before the downpour begins.

He’s got his own harness and can tie off, so I’m not too worried. Feeling so grateful this morning for all that’s been done these last few weeks.

Between demolition, the guys knocking out the framing, and getting the well running, there’s a lot to celebrate.

Next big thing: SAWMILL 🌳

THE CABIN IS GONE- it’s done! Now the rebuild can begin. We painstakingly dismantled most of the cabin to save any materials possible. They’ll be going to a good home down the road & become shelters for homestead animals.

Can we just take a moment to say THANK YOU for all of your support? Seriously, thank you. Life at the cabin wouldn’t be the same without this community, and we certainly wouldn’t be as motivated every day without you guys keeping us accountable for making progress.

Today marks a huge step in our #offgridcabin journey, we’re ready to take down the cabin, and rebuild better.

Chirstmas here should be beautiful.
