Over the weekend, Gavin and I repped Turbo Plumbing Solutions at the local primary school Trivia Night — theme: Around the World!

We went as Team Mexico (sombreros, colour, and good vibes only 🌮💃) — and our table WON by just ONE point! 🏆 Turns out we’re not just good with tools... we’ve got a few brains behind the drains too 😏🧠🔧

It was an awesome night full of laughs, community, and connection. We love showing up for our local schools and celebrating what makes our community great.

Turbo wins on and off the tools. 💪

🌪️ What a whirlwind this year has been!

From Gavin kicking things off solo to now having four plumbers on the road, plus Gavin, our CSR, and Mrs P behind the scenes, the Turbo team has truly grown. Last night we headed to the Plumbing & Gas Industry Awards. We didn’t take home a trophy, but that’s okay—because we’ve already won. 🏆

We win by building something bigger than awards: a strong, inclusive culture. One where our people matter, and our customers feel part of the Turbo family.

Hey Turbo fam 👋

We know we haven’t been as visible here lately, and we just wanted to give you a quick update. Things have been flat out with work, we’re bringing new team members on board 🚐🔧, and on top of that, making sure we squeeze in some much-needed family time too ❤️.

We’re definitely still here and still doing our best to bring you content — it just might take us a little longer between videos while we juggle it all. Thanks for sticking with us and for all the support you give our small business. It means the world 🙏.

And here’s a random slice of life for you — yesterday Gavin and little Winni went fishing, and would you believe it, they spotted a koala swimming in the river 🐨🌊. With the help of some others they managed to scoop it up in a net and get it safely back into the trees where it belongs 🌳. Never a dull moment!

A quick check in from Mrs P here 🌼

We are all safe and sound. We lost power for 36 hours, so that was fun with 2 young children. Our internet and phone lines were cut for a while. MR P is out solving plumbing problems for the Greater Brisbane area while the clean up begins.

We are lucky 🌀 Tropical Cyclone Alfred 🌀weakened to a Tropical Low before reaching us. But he did leave a trail of destruction. We experienced wind and relentless rain causing substantial flooding in and around Brisbane all the way up to Hervey Bay area down the East Coast extending into Northern New South Wales.

There are others worse off than us and we are thankful for all the emergency services working around the clock to assist everyone. So if that's you - THANK YOU!
