The Rotterdam White Scars

Dear all,
After over 10 years of organising events for the Rotterdam White Scars, I’ve decided it’s time to hang up my TO hat, preferably somewhere high where no one can use it as a line-of-sight blocker.

It’s been an amazing decade, and I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who rolled dice, moved toy soldiers with great seriousness, or politely pretended to understand the scenario rules I definitely didn’t write at the last minute.

We’ve seen heroes rise, armies fall, and more than a few players forget their measuring tape. Truly, all the classics. What made it special wasn’t just the games, but the community: the laughs, the sportsmanship, the questionable tactical decisions, and the friendships forged somewhere between victory and a very unfortunate priority roll.

Though I’m stepping back from organising, I’m not disappearing. I’ll still be around and will always be part of the community, just with fewer spreadsheets and more time to actually play a game or two… theoretically.

Thank you all for an incredible 10+ years. You made it unforgettable.
