As one modern scholar summarizes, “as patriarchal religions grew in prominence, goddess worship was suppressed” . In some cases the suppression was literal and violent – the Babylonian creation epic tells how the storm god Marduk slays Tiamat, the great primeval Mother Goddess of chaos. In that myth, Tiamat’s corpse is fashioned into heaven and earth, symbolizing a new divine order. Feminist interpretations argue this story was written “to demonstrate the death of the Goddess and the rise of the God,” with Tiamat’s grotesque fate portrayed in ways meant “to discredit women” and justify the domination of female “others” in society . In myth as in history, the “rise of the father-god” went hand-in-hand with the subjugation of female powers, both divine and human.

After much deliberation and a good talk with some of my best friends I have decided not to cancel this channel but to post on it still when I can even if it’s not terribly too often. I’m currently working on a gloriously epic script right now so stay tuned for that. The picture is a hint at what I’m going to be discussing about in it.

Just did a deep research using ChatGPT into Joseph Smith’s claims that he restored ancient old religion as opposed to creating a new one: Whether one believes in the prophetic calling of Joseph Smith or not, the comparative evidence is fascinating. It shows that the LDS faith is not an aberration invented in the 19th century, but rather a religion consciously reaching back to the very beginning for its inspiration. By teaching a premortal existence, a council in heaven, a Father and Mother God, and the potential of humans to become divine, Mormonism paints a theological panorama that matches the grandeur of the earliest cosmologies while centering Jesus Christ and His atonement as the means of exaltation. In doing so, it indeed presents itself as “restoring the ancient church” – not only the church of Peter and Paul, but in a sense the church of Adam, Enoch, and Abraham, a primeval faith now renewed. The many parallels we’ve discussed (from Canaanite inscriptions to patristic writings) lend credence to the LDS claim that their gospel is not new but old – as old as Christianity itself, even as old as human belief in God . Such a far-reaching restoration bridges the ages, inviting us to reconsider what the earliest believers in God might have known and how those truths find fresh expression in modern times through the teachings of Joseph Smith.

The lead archaeologist kneels before the crumbled keystone of what ancient metadata identifies as the Taypull of Zai-On. Her gloved fingers trace across the strange language etched into the stone — a swirling fusion of Hebrew, Egyptian, and what the archives call “Deseret glyph.”
A voice crackles through the comm-link:
"What... what was this strange mystic cult which practiced sorcery and built massive castles to their god all over the world?"
Behind her, light drones scan the ruins. Celestial symbols glow faintly beneath the sand. A broken statue labeled Angel Moroni is lifted from the ash — still pointing skyward.
A second voice chimes in, reading from a corrupted archive:
"They claimed they were gods in embryo... that they could bind souls across dimensions, and ascend into realms beyond death."
"They had rituals of light, baptisms for the dead, and sacred names that no AI has deciphered."
"Their leaders wrote revelations and forged cities in the wilderness... then vanished, persecuted, executed... and finally, mythologized."
