She didn’t know she was dying.
A 21-year-old woman walked into our emergency room in pain. She was 8 weeks pregnant—but the pregnancy was not in her womb. It was in her fallopian tube.
By the time she got to us, the tube had already ruptured. Blood was filling her abdomen. Her life was slipping away… silently.
We rushed her into surgery. She survived. But not everyone gets that chance.
This is the photo of the fetus we found during surgery. It’s a painful reminder of how quickly things can go wrong.
If you miss your period—don’t wait. Get an ultrasound (echography).
It’s not just to know if you’re pregnant, but where the pregnancy is growing.

Today, after hours in the operating room fighting to save the life of a 2-month-old baby, I stepped out—exhausted, bloodstained, but grateful the child had made it.
Then I saw it: 19 missed calls… and a message that read,
"Never call me again. I guess you're with her."
My reply: Make it 20!
