The 99 names of Allah (الله , al ilah) follow an alchemical journey where the mystic first comes into contact with the divine. The illusion of the formless 'hijab' is unveiled as the attention recognised the divine noor spark of the heart 'Qalb' قلب.

The initial qualities of Allah are feminine, saintly, compassionate and sweet showing love and respect between the divine. As with the outer flame, this is bright, luminous and an intense spark of fiery yellow.

As the mystic deepens their heart exploration relationship with Allah, the masculine qualities are revealed. Leading one to being constantly aware of the divine and the creations responsiveness. Such as with the intense cooler blue 'warrior like' steady inner flame.

Lastly the royal supreme greatness of Allah displays a feminine nature. The divine is unveiled to the divine heart spark realising the exalting of the formless. The regal nature is a powerful intense infinite abundant source yet formless such as the non-luminous coolest inner region of the flame.

In this way the ignorant self is annilated 'fana' entering union with Allah 'baqa' with all the 99 divine qualities of 108 (warrior, saint and royal).

As with mantras and japa yoga, the names of Allah invoke sound vibrations from the tongue into the heart. Allowing the mystic to transcend the worldy illusion and recognise the divine quality within their qalb, heart. Submitting (aslama) to the will (hukam) of Allah as a Muslim (one who aslama's).

La ilaha illa Allah (لا إله إلا الله), "Negation of all others except Allah"

ਅਵਲਿ ਅਲਹ ਨੂਰੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕੇ ਸਭਿ ਬੰਦੇ॥
Awwal allah noor upaya, kudrat ke sab bandey
First Allah created the Light; then creatively made all beings

ਏਕ ਨੂਰ ਤੇ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਉਪਜਿਆ॥ ਕਉਨ ਭਲੇ ਕੋ ਮੰਦੇ॥੧॥
Ek noor te sab jag upajya, koun bhalley koun mandey
