Hey all,

Been a little quiet on the channel, I know. I'm currently playing the new TLI season which I think is great, and haven't played PoE in a few weeks. I'm still going at Crimson Desert too, around 100 hours in...

PoE 2 will take some time, we learned. So currently just not too many topics to make videos about, so I'm just chilling in terms of content creation.

In real life, job is currently taking up a lot of my time, which also leaves me with less room for other stuff. I don't mind though, I have a fun job, so it's all good, but isn't helping you guys :)

All in all though, I'm doing good, I think in a few weeks I'll be back at it. At least update the minion infernalist for PoE 2. Plus I'm sure in time I'll do another PoE mirage run too.

I was planning to stream the Gauntlet, but checked the starting time, which for me is today at midnight. It's a Wednesday, today. I have to work tomorrow, and have drinks afterwards, so the earliest I can stream is Friday, likely accompanied by a hangover. Could make for interesting content, could also be not so great. I'll decide later to what extent I'm going to participate, and stream. The planning of this event isn't working out all that well for me. Or most Europeans, I imagine.

I don't think I'll make a video about the Gauntlet this time, but streaming it might be fun.

Meantime, I started Crimson Desert. Bought it a few days ago, played the entire Easter. I think the best immersive exploration game since Skyrim. And I love Skyrim, my earliest videos of 11 years ago are about that game, and its immersive mods. I'm not planning to make content for it, I am just enjoying the experience without the need to record or write.

I'll get back to PoE content in a bit, I am working in the background on another challenge run, but it may take a little while. I'll keep you posted :)

Hey all,

Another quick post. I've been playing Phrecia for quite a bit and having a good time. It takes a long time to get something decent in SSF though, but I'll keep grinding. Also on stream on yt.

Video will take a while, but it'll be a big one once it's done. Hopefully next weekend.

I also hope and cope GGG will nerf the monsters a bit, but ok...

Hey all,

Phrecia SSF is already pretty rough and now even harder with the random map mods. Because of that, I most likely won't be spinning the wheel for a starter build.

I want to have a fun time and do a bit of progression, and then perhaps mess around with some random builds later. There just isn't all that much time and I wasn't able to take time off. I'll play something I'm confident in and just enjoy the event.

Hey all,

Hope you're all doing well and you had a good holiday time and NYE. And hope this year will be another banger for ARPGs.

small channel update:

1. The state of PoE 2
I was still playing PoE 2 over the holidays and had a video lined up on how the pre X-mas buffs to temple for me really saved the league. I was having a great time after those bufs, building my temple, I thought it was a nice redemption story after the bad start, and I was happy to work on that.

Until, the last 2 days, GGG released 2 'hotfixes' that for casual temple enjoyers like me, made it impossible to build a temple. I agree with nerfing the loot, I had insane loot as well, but not allowing us to lock chains is one of the worst decisions they've made in a long time.

And so, that video isn't coming. I hope in the coming days, GGG will reconsider, because I've quit as a result of this 'hotfix'. There's just no point as the only reason for me for playing (building the temple a.k.a. playing the new patch), has been removed by these patches. As my mom would say, I'm not angry, I'm disappointed.

2. Sabbatical

As some of you know, the last 2 months (Nov / Dec) I've been on a 2-month sabbatical from work, in which I wanted to see what full-time content creation was like. I've made 24 videos during that time, and I had a great time doing so. I'm also happy to return back to my job tomorrow, however.

This means I'll be back to a video schedule from before the sabbatical, with 1-2 videos per week, most likely. Assuming I have something to show you :)

I'm still playing PoE 2 a lot, but rather than shorter single episodes, I'm going to make a big one instead. That'll take a bit more time to complete, but after a very rough start, I'm now progressing quite nicely.

I took a small break from the foulborn roulette, but I'm working on another one at the moment. I'll probably be streaming some of the progress here as well on YouTube. I started yesterday, so it might be a few days still before a new video.

Hey everyone,

I thought the Gauntlet started tonight, but it's already running. I'm editing another wheel build episode, new build, but will try a bit of Gauntlet first and likely make a video about that first (if it's interesting/fun/leedvermaak). Otherwise you'd get one wheel build video, then a gauntlet, and then episode 2 of wheel build. Doesn't make much sense. That means next video is going to take a little longer.

Hey everyone,

My PC died last Saturday, which can happen. However, it was pretty bad, so bad I can't even access folders anymore to create a backup of files. I do make regular backups, like every few months, but that won't help me much here.

It had so much footage on it, and templates, and music, and various saved files, of the last months, which are now all gone. Including a multi episode series about progression in SSF where I started a new character and showed every upgrade I got, with an explanation, and my line of thinking. I was very excited about that one and had two episodes written and recorded, until lvl 85.

So right now, I'm a little bit demotivated, as I know how much time it will take to get that all back.

On the bright side, I have a new PC which seems to work fine. And everything is installed again. It's just going to take time to be able to release a new PoE video. And I might make one or two videos not related to PoE while I get things back together again.

Just wanted to give you an update, and manage expectations. Hope you all have a great week, love you all, see you soon, bye bye.
