I just want to take a moment to say thank you.

To every one of my 400+ past students, my current one-on-one mentorship students, and every single subscriber who has trusted me over the last 6 years — I genuinely appreciate you more than you know.

But I also want this post to be more than a thank you.
I want this to be a real, heart-to-heart message for anyone who reads it.

I didn’t grow up with advantages.
I grew up on welfare, in a broken home.
I got my GED.
I served in the Army.
And at some point, I realized I was an entrepreneur — whether I liked it or not.

Since 2001, I’ve been building business credit for my own companies.
And let me be very clear about something most people don’t say:

I failed way more than I succeeded.

No real entrepreneur gets lucky and becomes a millionaire on the first try. Every one of us is tested. Hard.

Life tested me in ways I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

I lost my father suddenly.
Then I lost my eldest daughter.
There were moments where I honestly felt like I had nothing left.

But I picked myself up and did what had to be done.

I went from a net worth of zero in the early 2000s to becoming a multi-millionaire by 2017.
And just three months after my company was acquired for seven figures, I was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s disease.

At the time, I didn’t even know what Parkinson’s was.

Still — I fought.

I started this YouTube channel not for fame, not for money, but because my father taught me something that stuck with me forever:

Give back. What goes around comes around. And never play the victim.

After GBC started growing and going viral in the business credit space, life hit again.

I lost my little brother in 2021.
I lost my little sister in 2022.
My tremors worsened.
I went through clinical trials and multiple DBS brain surgeries — the first two failed.

The third one gave me my life back.

I’m sharing all of this for one reason only:

I have lived through more grief and pain than most people experience in several lifetimes combined.

And if I can still be standing — you can too.
