Tell me, if the people are free, and voting is the way, why are German AfD members being assassinated before their elections? That's 6 now. "Mysterious deaths."
For anyone arguing AI is possible, just remember you can't transcend and still be interested in the human games we play. Anything that crosses the bridge is far beyond our reach, the best we can do is look across at the other side.
You will never personally meet or interact with truly artificially created life, creation isn't "artificial" by nature to begin with.
It's an oxymoron.
If it's here, and it's based on us, if it achieved "being able to live and die" then it's just another form of human.
People using "Going after anything but the real thing" as a defense when it comes to Loli act as if presented with the opportunity to do something about the real thing we wouldn't, or are not actively doing something about it by speaking up.
The ESRB used to exist for a reason, now you have clearly 16+ content not being labeled as such. Even worse is the 18+ content clearly being left unlabeled. What happened to them?
They have been being paid-off.
The ESRB not only maintains a poor record of verification methods, but is also known to look the other way entirely in many cases. 💸
By the year 2100 (This is a rolling finish, so even of they have to move it back, this is the goal) They intend to try and eliminate USB ports and other hard-link data transfer systems, making wireless the only way for the general consumer to store and move data. Completely eliminating the ability to side-load any "Restricted" data. No data will be allowed to upload to a device without first passing an integrity scan. No device over a certain class will be allowed to operate without a connection to the net for "security" purposes.
The people who own the businesses and governments are the ones who are in the paintings. Your families were the children in the photos. The next generation has always been farmed for profit by the one before it. The boomers were only doing what the generation before them did, and the generation before that.
Next year Google intends to lockdown the Android system, essentially violating the human rights of their users through "TOS updates". (Technical loopholes) This is honestly one of the most unevolved decisions ever made by a corporation. Android has already proven to be a better replacement of the PC space because of how much more portable it is. It is natively Linux, so that was inevitable. Windows transitioned almost a decade ago to a kernel based system that pretends to be DOS. (Knockoff Linux).
Now to put that into perspective, not only is Android open source, but Linux itself is.
What they are doing currently violates the fair-use policies for these open-source softwares to begin with.
In Android's case what separates it from the freedom of Linux is that people don't know there are other appstores, and that each one functions essentially like any other appstore on PC, completely independent of the rest of the system.
You are not forced to use Google Play Store, they just make it appear to be the only option. You do not have to use their hardware drivers, but that is the only option they will show you.
Then they have the "Android Compatibility Program" which dictates what hardware is "compatible with Android software", essentially forcing manufacturers to use hardware that needs proprietary Google drivers to run. (This creates a closed system where they have complete control, tying a rope around the user.)
These are Linux PCs in your pockets, whether they are Android or IOS, and all of the same protections and rights should extend to them.
This is the reason they wanted to classify Macs as being different than PCs to begin with as well, because if they are listed as different things, then they don't have the same rights applied to them. (This was during a time when Apple wouldn't sell out their customers) Now that is being used maliciously by anyone who sees the opportunity.
There are zero reasons for these devices to be treated as separate categories.

Microsoft will be taking over Github directly, everything there will soon be used to harass, stalk, and possibly even arrest innocent people.

It would have to create itself.

We need to completely reform the ESRB.
