Hey Friends!

It’s been a rough week or so for my mental health again and after some serious thought, I’ve determined that I need to step away from the channel for a bit. I need a blank slate to figure out what I need to thrive and the stress of regular posts to YouTube and social media do not help. I’ve never been good at putting on a happy face which has gotten in the way of my consistency and I don’t like the feeling of letting you down.

So what does this mean for the channel? It will remain as is. I will still post, but when I have the energy and passion to do so. This means posts will be terribly inconsistent. If you enjoyed my content and my crochet journey so far and want to stay on board please hit the bell notification so you are notified when I do eventually post. Also, there is a collab that I will still take part in. You will want to see those!

So, yeah… the channel isn’t going anywhere, I just need considerable time to essentially ease up on things that are stressing me out. I also need to accept that consistent posting will never be a thing here and I am very sorry.

I appreciate your support and understanding.

Exciting news, everyone! I’ve officially joined Twitch! Feel free to check out my channel and give me a follow. I plan to do some random live streams over there, crocheting and maybe playing some cozy games. It'll all be based on what I’m feeling at the moment. It will be lots of fun and I’d love for you all to be part of it.


Once I get the hang of things over there, I aim to dual live stream to Twitch and YouTube. This way, no one misses out. So, stay tuned for more updates, and don’t worry if you don’t have a Twitch account—I'll figure things out soon enough. :D Can’t wait to see you on both platforms!

Hello, my lovely friends!

This has been a very reflective week for me. I’ve been struggling to balance what feels right and good for me with what I think others expect from me. All too quickly, I’ve begun to lose touch with the reason I crochet and create to begin with. I love having this channel, and it’s not going anywhere, but I am going to make some changes, starting with my perspective. I’ve been overwhelmed and stressed over the past month, with too many things I want to do and an inability to focus on any one thing. Between the market, YouTube, the pressure to grow on social media, and thinking about a website, my brain has been overloaded, and I’ve lost sight of creating for the love of it.

So, what am I going to do? I’m simplifying. My focus will now be solely on creating, starting with my market and then letting my silly brain lead the way. You guys will still be involved, but I’ll post here when I feel the excitement, not just because the algorithm says I should. Dealing with mental health issues means adding toxic social media culture and expectations just doesn’t work for me. So, please stay tuned and hit the bell so you know when I post—you won’t want to miss it. I’m going back to crocheting as I should, in a manner that’s more authentic to me.

It's been a rough couple weeks where my mental health has been concerned...but in that time, retail therapy has been the best quick hit of dopamine I need to keep going.
