As I sit editing my next video about national parks, I reminisce about all the stunning nature and wonderful memories I've made over the years in public lands. We have a fundamental right as Americans to enjoy areas of natural beauty, and it's dwindling due to the current administration.
Wallace Stegner called national parks "The best idea we ever had. Absolutely American, absolutely democratic, they reflect us at our best rather than our worst."
It's hard to see what's happening now to our public lands as democratic, but these lands are FOR THE PEOPLE, and firing the workers who care for these sacred lands is UNAMERICAN.
Next time you're in a national park, state park, or public land, pick up some trash & thank a ranger. They need our support now more than ever. And as always, leave it better than you found it. π
Enjoy this messy view from my latest video. π One year ago I posted a video that made me monetized on YouTube. I never started making creating videos to make money, (as you'll see in my newest upload) but it's been a great bonus for my creative outlet. Now it's got 165k views, which for some is not a lot, but it's huge for me. π
Check out my newest video, in which I explain how I got monetized and ultimately how much I made in 2024. Thank you all for being here. π«Άπ»
I didn't mean to keep away for so long, but a few things have been keeping my attention!
After welcoming my daughter in June, I had 6 weeks left to soak up the California sun before moving to England. We've been in the UK for a week now, and have been enjoying time with family. Hopefully, we are moving into our new home next week π€π» and will be able to explore some new places soon.
I'm extremely behind on editing videos, as you can imagine! I only have small chunks of time here and there, so videos will come out as I can get them done. I don't want to put pressure on myself as a new mom in a new country just yet, but know that I have lots of ideas and plans for the future of my channel. π«Άπ»
The rooftop tent is all ready for European adventures! Swipe to see before ππ»
I filmed some of the process of putting a liner on the tent for a future video, but I don't think I did a great job capturing it all.
Who knew being 8.5 months pregnant and moving overseas would be exhausting?! π
All this to say sorry for the big gap in videos, I have a few that I'm working on, but they may be out be slower than intended. Hope you so are well! π«Άπ»
Just uploaded my vlog of first trip to a Costa Rica, and the amount of wildlife we saw was INCREDIBLE. What an amazing country! π¨π· Go check it out on my channel. π«Άπ»
I stayed up until 11:30pm last night and watched my subs reach 1,000!!! π₯³π₯
One year ago to the day, I uploaded my first "real" YT video. I was nervous and really insecure and was wondering if I was crazy to try to get to 1k subscribers in a year. I can't believe that LITERALLY one year later I reached it. π
Thank you for all your support, and I'm so excited to see where this takes me. π«Άπ»π«Άπ»
I guess I should rename my recent video "less than 1,000 subscribers"? π
One year ago today, I uploaded my "Day in the Life" video and was completely terrified. It's hard to believe that it's one year later, and not only am I being more myself, but receiving so much support in the process, and I'm so grateful for it all.
Thank you, everyone, for all your support in my long YouTube journey! π«Άπ»
Hi everyone! Hope you're having a great Monday. We're nearly drowning in San Diego. :)
I'm doing some trip planning for March to visit some Utah national parks. I'm definitely doing Arches (been once before) and Bryce Canyon, but out of the two below, which would you visit?
Let me know any other advice below for visiting in winter (mid-March). I'm concerned it'll be too cold for camping, but what do you think?

I put a lot of hours and love into this video, grab a coffee and enjoy. And let me know what rankings I got wrong or right! π«Άπ»

I forgot to show me ticking off two more National Parks on my shirt. It's looking pretty good to me! π
Which park (that I've visited) do you think will be at the top of my park ranking video? π
Check out the new National parks video here ππ»
