She went straight into the Glowrium G11 grow light and plant stand. Most houseplants want bright indirect light and money trees are no exception, so I keep the ring about 12” above her and run it 12 hours a day, all scheduled from the app.

What I like about this one: the stand fits pots from 12” to 14.5” and the pole extends from 57” to 70”, so as she grows I can raise the light with her. Full spectrum, 56 LEDs, dimmable from 1% to 100%, with an auto timer and circadian mode. And I can control the whole thing from my phone.

My Sansevieria ‘Chanin’ (you’ll also see it as “Channing,” or sold as Silver Syreni) pushed out a flower spike and I did nothing to earn it.

Bone-dry all winter. Then way more direct sun than I’d normally give her, a hot summer, and regular watering once things warmed up. That swing from stress to abundance seems to be the trick, snake plants tend to flower when they’ve been a little neglected, then suddenly treated well while tightly rooted.

The blooms are worth staying up for: they open in the evening, smell incredible, and drip sticky nectar (put a saucer under yours 😅).

Welcome to my new plant corner. All plants I recently picked up. When you’re running out of space, you’ve gotta get creative.

I’ve got the @glowrium G5 running over the whole group, and I can control the whole thing from an app. I love the app because I can set a sunrise ramp that eases on at dawn and fades at sunset, adjust the brightness, and keep everything on a schedule without lifting a finger. Two adjustable arms mean every plant gets its light, and I’m recreating those greenhouse conditions right at home.
