68 Lessons Later and 19 Reasons to Keep Going!

It’s 1:45 a.m., and something woke me up out of my sleep — a quiet nudge to check my back office.

I wasn’t planning to work, just reflecting… and what I saw felt like a gut punch.
Next month marks my 10th year with an amazing company — a full decade of growth, grit, and grace.

In that time, 68 people personally said yes to me, and about 600 others said yes through my partners. Some stayed for a season, some walked away, and all of them taught me something.

At first, those numbers made me pause. Then I remembered something our partners André Turner
and Denise Hutton said during our Sunday team meeting:
“Don’t focus on who’s not there. Focus on who is.”
Such a great reminder as I’m scrolling my back office.

Because of the 19 who remain, my organization now stands at 185 active partners and we’re still growing. 🌱

This isn’t just a business; it’s a community. Seeing those (caneled and credit hold) names don’t discourage me as much anymore — it inspires me.

December 29th, is my 10th year anniversary! I’m more committed than ever to lock arms with the 19 who said yes to me, so that together we can lock arms with our 185 who stayed as we continue to create our own economy ⭐️⭐️

The 19 🔥are the ones who believed when it wasn’t easy, who stayed when it wasn’t trendy, and who keep growing alongside me.

They remind me that success isn’t built by the crowd — it’s cultivated by the committed.
So tonight, in this quiet hour, I’m not restless — I’m grateful.
Grateful for the journey, the lessons, and the 19 reasons to keep going. 💚

🌿 Women Winning Wednesday

“Our Health Is Still Our Wealth”
🩺 The more I build and evolve as a woman in business, the more I realize, my real bottom line is my health.

This Women Winning Wednesday, I’m not talking about profits or promotions.
I’m talking about priorities — especially the ones that can’t be outsourced.

💬
My Story: A Wake-Up Call About Care
Over the years living in Wisconsin, I experienced what great medical care could feel like.
Because of my ex-husband’s insurance and the level of coverage we had, I landed in the care of some of the best doctors — including Dr. Felicia Robertson (I’ll have to tag her 💛).
Those doctors took their time. Their offices were well-run, professional, and warm. Both the doctors and their staff were personable, respectful, and thorough.

I left those visits feeling cared for — not processed.
But as life shifted and I moved from Wisconsin to Arizona to Georgia, I noticed the difference.

I’m not sure if it’s geography or just how the healthcare system has evolved, but something feels… different.
Recently, I received a notice that my insurance cost has increased by over 240%, even as the quality of care feels less personal than ever. And now, at this stage of life — where I’m slowing down, recalibrating, and finally prioritizing my wellness — I can’t ignore how challenging it’s become to find care that feels both competent and compassionate.

The Realization
That experience reminded me of something deeper:
Sometimes, even when our instincts whisper “something feels off,” we override it in the name of being agreeable or “not making a fuss.”
But that’s the voice we have to start honoring again.
Because what I’m learning — and what many of us are realizing — is that:
✅ We are our own best advocates.
✅ Our health deserves the same excellence we expect in our businesses.
✅ And it’s okay to pause, ask questions, and choose differently.

As We Close Out This Year
As this year comes to a close, I want to invite all of us to take inventory — not of our products or our goals, but of our peace, our providers, and our physical well-being.
When was our last full check-up?

Are we satisfied with our care, or just settling?

Do we have our records organized and accessible?

Are we treating our health like part of our wealth plan?

Because if we can lead teams, manage households, grow brands, and build legacies — we can absolutely lead in our health journeys too.

Closing Reflection
Our bodies are the original businesses we’ve been called to manage.
Being well isn’t just about self-care — it’s about stewardship.
And as women, when we prioritize our wellness, we all win.
