We’re called to follow God, not trends. We don’t need to dress up the Gospel or make it more appealing to match the world. Our worship, our choices, and our message stay rooted in His Word, not in what’s popular. Truth doesn’t need watering down. It just needs to be lived.

👉 When we study the Old Testament closely, certain themes rise to the surface that many readers have never explored.
For example, Scripture gives the title of Patriarch only to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Ishmael and Esau are not included, and that decision shapes the entire covenant line. We also see a pattern where the firstborn blessing does not always go to the firstborn. Jacob’s cross handed blessing in Genesis 48 gives Ephraim the double portion, and that single act influences the future structure of Israel.
Later, the nation splits. Our modern Bibles often call the two kingdoms Judah and Israel, yet the oldest manuscripts name the northern kingdom Ephraim. These two together form the whole house of Israel, and in Ezekiel 37 God promises they will one day be reunited. That raises important questions about identity, scattering, and restoration.
Archaeology brings its own discussion. A large Hebrew settlement has been found in the same place the Bible describes, yet it was dismissed because the timing conflicted with the traditional Egyptian timeline. When researchers aligned the dates with the biblical record, the pieces began to fit.
These topics help us read the Scriptures with fresh eyes and deeper understanding.
