New vid going up! I covered The Haunting quick-start scenario for the 7th edition of the Call of Cthulhu tabletop roleplaying game by Chaosium in my first-ever GM tips video, and you've given it a lot of love. On this episode of Rocketboost Roleplay Extra, I wanted to return the favour and feature YOUR thoughts on motivating the player characters in this module and how that means changing your relationship with its questgiver, Mr Knott.

About to record one of Rocketboost Roleplay Extra short videos, following up on a previous module guide video. After that, I'll be scripting and recording a NEW GM module tips vid that's actually not a one-off module but the first part of a full-length legendary campaign! One last thing? I know MOST my audience are folks who have already run games (so forgive me for this!) but I've wanted to make this vid for quite a while. Latest RPG culture episode is recorded! Trying out the new greenscreen in a new recording location. Still some kinks to work out (I need a raised stand for the laptop because I think my eyeline is wayyy too low) but I think this may work. Will see once I start chopping!

Hi all! Just wanted to provide an update. Almost finished scripting the latest RPG culture episode. I will be recording it over the hols. Have finally found a location to record where I can use the new greenscreen and will have better sound. So that's nice.

Only other thing of interest is I'm finally gonna be trying out the Daggerheart tabletop RPG, as a player. Even though I'm not exactly 100% sold on what I've read so far, I'm always excited to try new systems. You can't really know a game till you've played it and one of my American online group members is being kind enough to give us all a try of it. We went through character creation on Saturday which was interesting. I am seeing some stuff from other games I do like has been melded into this system, which has me intrigued. My only concern is if it all blends together well or if it's a mess. I shall see!

In the meantime, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

And here it is, my first-ever unboxing video, featuring the Alien RPG Evolved Edition! On the first episode of Rocketboost Roleplay Unboxed, we open up a Kickstarter package for Free League's sorta kinda 1.5 version of their sci-fi horror tabletop roleplaying game. I got the Roughneck Bundle with a GM screen add-on, which includes the Starter Set (and its Hope's Last Day scenario), the Rapture Protocol set, and the Core Rulebook. Even if I have no idea what I'm doing in this format, I had fun!
