With hearts weighed down by sorrow yet uplifted in the hope of eternal life, we honor the life and legacy of our beloved uncle, friend, teacher, and devoted servant of God, Bro. Theodore Reginald. A man of profound wisdom, unwavering faith, and discipline, he dedicated his entire life to the service of God, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.
Uncle Theodore was not only a brilliant Mathematics professor but also a man who saw beyond numbers and equations—he saw the divine order and wisdom of God reflected in every aspect of creation. Though he excelled in the academic world, he never allowed worldly success to overshadow his true calling: the preaching of the Gospel. Every moment of his life, every ounce of his strength, and every beat of his heart was devoted to making the Word of God known to simple people, leading many to a deeper understanding of the Scriptures. He was a teacher in the truest sense, both in the classroom and in the house of God.
His passion for in-depth Bible study was unmatched. With patience and love, he guided many in their spiritual journey, making the profound truths of Scripture accessible to all. He never sought recognition for his work, nor did he tire in his mission; even in his final moments, his heart and mind were set on the things of God. He truly embodied the words of the apostle Paul: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).
Today, with a very heavy heart, we must inform all of God’s people that it has pleased the Lord to call home His faithful servant, our dear Uncle Theodore Reginald. Though we mourn his absence, we also rejoice in the assurance that he is now at rest in the presence of the Lord he so faithfully served. Kindly keep his family and the churches in your prayers, that the Lord may grant them His divine comfort and peace.
As we remember his life and celebrate his homegoing, we find solace in the words of Scripture:
“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” – Psalm 116:15
“The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.” – Isaiah 57:1-2
Uncle Theodore has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). May his life be a testimony that inspires us to serve God with the same dedication and love. Until we meet again in glory, we give thanks for his life and the impact he has left behind.
Bro. Theodore Reginald passed away to glory in the late morning on 3rd March,2025. "Absent from the body, present with the Lord " 2 Cor 5:8
