I am still processing everything. I love sharing stories from the people I speak to every day, and over the years, I've seen so many of you achieve your goals—building your first emergency fund, investing for the first time, and finally breaking free from debt. When we started KKB, our CEO Joel reminded us that the mission was simple: to help Filipinos make better financial decisions. As we grew into a community of millions, he anchored us to a very important truth—success isn't measured by how big we get, but by the positive impact we create through one simple rule: no gatekeeping. Knowledge is only valuable when it is shared.

Pero paano ba natin i-sha-share nang tama? Our CMO, Joram, hit us with a hard truth during his speech: the Philippines has no shortage of information; what we lack is comprehension. You can build the most comprehensive guide on interest rates, but if it reads like a foreign language to everyday people, it means absolutely nothing. That is exactly why KKB exists. We are here to take those jargon-heavy modules and translate them into something a jeepney driver, a call center agent, and a first-time credit card holder can all actually use. As Joram perfectly said, "Knowledge that doesn't confuse is knowledge that gets used".

This is the exact reason why the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas stepped in. As BSP Deputy Governor Bernadette Romulo-Puyat highlighted, their goal is to help Filipinos understand financial products and manage risks right inside the platforms where they are already having conversations. They are bringing the solid, credible foundation, and we are bringing the community and the accessibility. It is the perfect synergy.

So, what does this mean for you all of us? It means KKB is taking on a bigger responsibility. We, KasKasan Buddies, officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), ang lead agency ng bansa natin against cybercrime under the DICT.

Alam niyo naman na I will never get tired of creating content on how to protect your hard-earned money. Pero in today's digital age, hindi na lang ito tungkol sa pag-iipon o pag-iwas sa sugal—kailangan din nating labanan sa mga online scams, fraud, at digital threats na bigla na lang uubos sa ipon natin. Especially those that are much more vulnerable, going digital always have its pros and cons, but kaya natin labanan yung mga threats na yan!

That is exactly why this partnership means so much to me. Guided by CICC’s mandate to safeguard Filipinos online, magtutulungan tayo para mas palakasin pa ang digital at financial literacy sa bansa. Reflecting on my journey today, I’m just filled with so much gratitude for another year of life and purpose.

Looking back, hindi ko talaga inakala na aabot tayo sa point na ’to (the journey was long, hard, it wasn’t the easiest but very fulfilling—I get to celebrate my birthday while seeing so many of you reach your own financial milestones, reaching your first 100K, nakapag-invest, nakapag bukas ng MP2, nakakuha ng first credit card (fully paid lagi) and so much more.

It’s not a walk in the park to create content for a living, especially sa finance and to keep it free? Di rin madali. But to everyone who has been part of my story, maraming-maraming salamat sa inyong lahat. Your messages, your wins, and even your simple "thank yous" in the comments, are the real driving force that keeps me going every single day. Ty din for messaging na you dont skip ads or even support me by using promo codes or referral codes sa mga banking apps.

I’ve realized that my mission is much bigger than my personal goals, and it’s a huge privilege na makasama ko kayo sa journey patungo sa pag-asenso nating lahat.

2025 marks a huge turning point in my life. Basta daming nangyari.

It’s been a little over a year since we uploaded “Why Life Changes When You Reach ₱100,000” on YouTube. Since then, ang dami nang nag-message, nag-comment, at nag-share na naabot n’yo na ang first ₱100,000 n’yo. Whether savings, investments, or however you defined it—you did it!!! Ikaw yung gumawa nun, I was just your cheerleader!

To everyone who messaged me to share your success, salamat po. Reaching your first ₱100k or ₱1M is the best feeling in the world! I created those tutorials on how to save your first 100k and 1M this 2025, and I am so happy they resonated with you. Honestly, I never imagined those videos would reach so many people. Ginawa ko lang talaga siya para tulungan ang sarili ko (kasi ang dami ko ring mali na nagawa hehe) and seeing it help thousands more? Iba. Sobrang nakakataba ng puso.

What makes me happiest is this: lahat ng ginagawa natin, LIBRE. Wala tayong binibentang classes, courses, or templates. Alam n’yo ’yan—my commitment has always been the same: Kung kaya nating ibigay nang libre, ibibigay natin nang libre. Because of your never-ending support, nagagawa natin ’yan. Kaya maraming, maraming, maraming salamat.

This is why 2025 feels so pivotal. It proves that you don’t need expensive courses, paid templates, or mga fancy apps to succeed. Everything you need is already in your hands. Kayo ang gumagawa ng pagbabago. Kayo ang nagtatagumpay. I'm just here to share, to cheer you on, to give you that little push (kung kinakailangan).

Please don’t get tired of me saying this: financial literacy should be accessible and is for every Filipino. Dapat talaga, basic necessity siya—not a luxury. Nandito lang ako—whether as your coach, kuya, ate, kapatid, beshie, or friend—cheering for you and creating tools you can use anytime.

For 2026, there is so much more to do. Hindi tayo titigil until every Filipino becomes financially literate, stable, free, wise, and kung ano pang pwede idugtong na salita. I am tired, but I am so excited for what’s next! Para mas maraming Pilipino ang kayang magsimula. Para mas maraming pamilya ang aangat.
