Hi all, must be admission season in India already. That reminds me it's already 7 years since I joined IISER-K, what a journey it has been. Made so many friends, been to so many countries, bought gadgets I once dreamed of owning and so.... Anyways, what university/institute are you joining this year? In any case, all the best!

Also note if you did not get into the University you desired do not be worried, no University guarantees success neither does it mean failure, it's all up to you! Some years down the line you'll look back and laugh away this worry!

Hi all, I've been busy lately as I'm scheduled to travel to California 🇺🇸 this August, and must prepare my manuscript before that. Exam season must be ending in India, so of you've questions regarding IISER-K, life after IISER-K or academia in general, do reply to this post, I'll try making a video about FAQs, for individual ones I'll try answer them here.

20th June 2024 — a date I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
The day the IISER dream finally came to an end.

It wasn’t easy being at IISER Kolkata — mentally, emotionally, academically. But now, as I look back, there’s this strange nostalgia that washes over me. The struggle, the long nights, the people who stood by me — it all feels like memories from a distant battlefield. Like a soldier remembering his comrades from a war long past.

Today, I sit on the grass in a sunny park in Berlin, wondering how things have evolved. It’s been 6 years since I first joined IISER, and a year since I left. So much has changed, from a 12th pass out, who had never left home alone to a young physicist in a foreign land, it's been a long journey and yet, life goes on...

Being an aviation enthusiast and a frequent flyer both on Air India and Boeing 787 (be it Air India, Ethiopian or erstwhile Vistara); the tragedy of AI171 hits close to home for me. I am at a loss of words.

Speedy recovery to those injured!
RIP to those lost🕯️
