I have Congestive Heart Failure. I don't want to let that control my life. I enjoy the outdoors and outdoor related activities, from hiking to hunting. Fishing, Archery, refurbishing old camping gear, canoeing, and camping. I hope that by sharing what I am going through with Congestive Heart Failure I can give hope to others living with health conditions. I hope to show that our health conditions don't have to keep us from living the best life possible. So come along with me, and let's get outdoors and get into some shenanigans.

I was feeling more fatigued than usual and was feeling a bit heavy chested. So I decided to go to the hospital. Things look good i am being admitted. Sound like a few more tests tomorrow. And hopefully sent on home.

Today, my son and I shot in The Upper Peninsula Feild Archery Association 2025 indoor championship. We had a really great day. I took a first in Senior Men's Bowhunter Class B. My son took a first in Adult Men's Bowhunter Class A.

Hey Gang, I hope your week is going well. Some exciting news. I saw the results for last weekends tournament. So not only did I have my personal best score and X's. I also took 1st place. That is also a first for me in Archery. So I am super pumped up about that.
On the other hand. I had a rough one this week. My CHF kicked my butt. I had plans to go camping on Wednesday. But I ended up feeling super fatigued and spent the 2 days pretty much just sleeping. I am feeling back up to par today. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Holy Cow Gang. I shot an archery tournament today. And I got my personal best score today. I scored 293 points out of a possible 300. I only dropped 7 points. I had a goal to reach the 290s this year. I finally reached it. I also got 24 bullseyes out of 60 shots. This is also a personal best during a tournament.

My buddy from Wisconsin brought a couple of his snowmobiles up to my next of the woods. The days we were out, the trail had been freshly groomed. And it was the beginning of a work week. So we had smooth riding and almost no traffic.
