One of the unexpected joys I have found in volunteering at animal shelters is getting to take photos of the pups! I love being able to use my creativity to take pictures that show off their personalities. Staff have been able to use them for adoption profiles or other social media advertising, and it helps get these babies adopted!

Ace is struggling in the shelter and started to exhibit kennel stress behaviors like nipping. He was restricted on who he could go out on field trips with for safety, but once I met him on our enrichment day I knew I HAD to spoil him with a doggy date! This adorable scruffy smarticle particle is available for adoption at The Oahu SPCA!

UPDATE: ADOPTED! Sweet little Molly has been through so much. She has been in shelter since October but only recently became available for adoption due to multiple necessary medical procedures. This cutie has been such a trooper and it's finally time for her revenge tour! A full video of our field trip together goes up on Sunday!

SOS for sweet Kerri! This precious girl was waiting over 100 days in the shelter to find her family and was starting to show signs of kennel stress. She got adopted a week ago, then re-homed due to allergies, then unbelievably found as a stray-her new family had dumped her. I am not exaggerating when I say Kerri is one of the sweetest dogs I have encountered. She is now looking for a foster or foster to adopt home that can provide her patience, love, stability, and help her build her confidence. Please help us spread the word about this precious girl. She would do so much better in a foster home rather than returning to the shelter, but she only has a few days to find a good one! UPDATE: in foster, looking for an adopter!

Big news friends! My boy Beebo has been ADOPTED!!! A sweet family brought him home for a foster to adopt along with a kitten. They fell in love and both babies are home for good! I love this boy so much and am crying happy tears today.
