Mind Altering Hip Hop is a place you can come to for all of your hip hop needs. I try to provide you all with hip hop that has a positive message and provides an outlet for inspirational and creative work. Here you will find a lot of beats and instrumentals coming from old Jazz, R&B and Soul samples, original work as well combined with precision lyrics and heartfelt rhymes. All these artists put 100% effort into these works and many are true masterpieces, I hope you all can appreciate the talent and hard work of all these individuals so sit back, relax and enjoy.

Hey everybody, been many many years since I’ve uploaded anything or even checked in. Thanks for riding strong with the channel all this time and I appreciate you all very much. I hope some of these songs and artists have struck a cord with you and you’ve gotten something out of listening. I am going to be making some playlists on Spotify so make sure to follow me there for when I add new stuff and you can follow me on bandcamp as well. Got my life heading in a more positive direction now so want to get back to spreading great music!

Hey everyone,
I am closing in on 2k subscribers and it honestly warms my heart. The only reason I created this channel was to hopefully bring along some ears who would otherwise normally turn away at the thought of hip hop/rap music. This isn’t mumble rap, this isn’t party rap, this isn’t mainstream. This is raw lyricism, boom bap and soul from artists who are grinding day in day out like the rest of us, and these are their stories. I appreciate every single individual who has ever clicked on a video, taken the time to hear some bars, liked, commented and checked out the artists with a purchase.
