Hi everyone! This week we’re back, and this time we’re exploring the account of a Swedish upper class woman born in the 1920s, someone who moved comfortably among diplomats, royalty, and international business circles. Despite a life marked by privilege and access, she was still haunted by a string of events that followed her across continents and resurfaced within her family life and sense of self. Join us on Friday as we go through the details.
A quick note before Friday's episode. This week we are in Germany, outside a small café in a populated area, after what had been an unremarkable evening at the local pub. From there it is anything but. More than one neighbour notices activity that does not belong on a residential street, and the aftermath leaves its own mark on those who were present.
We are looking forward to sharing this one with you. The full account arrives on Friday.

This site is designed to be a central hub for everything we uncover — the forgotten stories, the strange details, and the threads that connect them.
It is time for a new episode, and once again we are looking at a case that has left behind a number of investigations and recordings. One of the events that stands out as especially strange is when a group of stooped pale beings approach our witness and offer him food that grows in the mouth and tastes bizarre. As if that were not enough, it seems that other incidents are connected to this one and to other unsettling experiences, especially when the witness ends up in the hospital and, between life and death, receives an unexpected visit.
And before we wrap up this intro, thank you again for the incredible response to last week’s unusually long episode. That radio clip still gives us chills, and clearly many of you felt the same.
Wishing you all a good rest of the week. See you on Friday.
Thank you so much for the amazing response to last week’s episode, it truly means a lot! And that is why we are extra excited to let you know that this Friday we are releasing our longest episode ever.
Now, length is not the most important thing in a YouTube video of course, but at Stories Lost we always let the source material decide. And this time, we had more than enough to work with.
This week’s episode takes us from a radio station’s broadcast being jammed in a spectacular fashion, through a life marked by unusual events, and all the way to an actual onboard encounter. It is a case that keeps expanding the deeper you dig.
So make sure to set aside some time, and maybe grab something good to eat, because this Friday we will be hanging out for about an hour.
Hi everyone! This week we are exploring a case from Ukraine from the 1990:s that might not always reach those outside more specialized circles. Two young girls described an encounter with unfamiliar figures, and we can tell you now, their appearance is something out of the ordinary… It might be one of the most unsightly descriptions of a creature or being we have come across! What then followed was a sequence of events that investigators later tried to trace and verify, and parts of their work ended up matching details in the girls’ story in a way that is deeply unsettling. We are looking forward to sharing this episode with you. It might even be one of our longest so far.
A Swedish horror novel. "Nattgrim" is inspired by Stories Lost and real cases of high strangeness, set in Dalarna and rooted in memory, folklore and a quiet sense of unease, will be released in Swedish in autumn 2026.
Hi everyone! We’re deeply thankful for all your messages and support. It keeps us going, truly. This Friday, we dive into a rare case drawn from one of the fan-translated Russian ufology books that rarely reach the mainstream. It involves something not easily classified, where creatures, lights, and human perception blur together. Some might call them cryptids, creatures, beings or just crazy scary. Thanks to the quiet work of the secret academia that keeps these texts alive, we can bring you encounters that would otherwise remain buried. See you on Friday.
Hi everyone! The weeks are flying by and it’s almost time for a new episode. This time, we’re taking on a story from one of you – one of our dear viewers. It’s a very strange incident that took place in the Norwegian mountains around the turn of the millennium; a strange and uncanny encounter, yet with clear echoes of other cases.
We’ve launched StoriesLost.se — the home of forgotten tales and unexplained mysteries. Explore every episode through our new Story Index, complete with years, locations, an interactive timeline, and a world map. Watch on YouTube or listen on Spotify and Apple Podcasts with just one click. The site is still under development — if you spot any issues, please email jerk.jacobs@storieslost.se.
