In Muhammad Mustafa Vs. District Police Officer, etc. Lahore High court Multan Bench Held that grown-up minor above 15 years of age cannot be forced to live with parents or be sent to a shelter home against her will, especially when she expresses fear, distress, or discomfort in the parental home. The Court observed that liberty, dignity, and mental well-being are fundamental rights, and custody disputes regarding such children should be decided by the Guardian Court in accordance with law.
