Hey Guys,

It's been a while. But I'm excited for a fresh start on the channel. As you know, I took a long break from youtube due to a big flooding through the fall and winter months and made a comeback to the channel for MLB the Show 26. Also, for some of the OG subscribers, this channel has been going on for 10 years now and my life is so much different than what it was when I first started. Having a family (3 kids and wife) definitely takes up the majority of my time where I am not working, so I haven't been able to dedicate as much time to this channel as I would've hoped to have. MLB The Show in particular is a huge time committment because of how long the seasons are, and since I dont technically do live commentary, it's a lot of my time which ends up going into one episode. Baseball is definitely a tricky thing to cover if you dont do live com. Because of that, I did decide to abandon that series. I think the Show in general is fun, but definitely lacks the depth to keep you fully engaged throughout the season. So in other words, I wont be revisiting the Kansas City Monarchs Franchise.

Looking ahead, I will be starting my College Football 27 Dynasty in a couple of days and I am very excited for this year more than last year. The format of the series will be different but it will be a nice change for the channel. The additions of NIL and the challenges of rebuilding a small school seem actually real this year. No more cheesing the game because now you have to earn it via your budget. I just think this year, you are allowed to cheese the game a lot less (not saying I have in the past) but definitely adds to the immersion instead of a "set it and forget it" type of dynasty mode (which i think is a big downfall of MLB the Show).

Just remember, I dont play guys off of OVR alone, production matters. Same reason why the 2nd leading sack getter in Season 1 is a 65 overall walkon. Everybody has a chance to earn Playing Time!
