Path to Wellbeing Nicola Court

This particular client has attended clinic for help 14 weeks post surgery.

Unfortunately he has developed keloid scarring..this is why it looks lumpy.

Ideally, i would treat scars with massage and acupuncture, much sooner than this. But we can still make some good changes with his leg!

After 1 session he reported improved mobility and the burning pain had reduced.
We combined acupuncture massage and gentle gua sha during this session

The remaining photos are of his follow up sessions.
You can clearly see the change in the scar..its lumpiness has reduced...the colour is much better and the discomfort also reduced.

He still has some burning but this is due in part to the nerves regenerating after the damage caused by the surgery.
This has reduced but is being a little slower which is normal.
